The Sulphur Springs Valley, home to the Willcox AVA (American Viticultural Area), provides ideal growing conditions for world class wine grapes. Golden Rule Vineyards lies upon the western edge of the valley along the Gunnison hills and just North of the Dragoon mountain range. The vineyard consists of 26 acres of wine grapes, of both French and Italian origin. The Willcox AVA is situated ideally in the a high elevation valley, allowing perfect diurnal shifts between day and night time temperature to promote consistent and desirable ripening of the fruit crop. This is vital to creating the necessary components within the grapes that allow for amazing wine quality.
Golden Rule Vineyards grows 11 varieties of wine grapes on the estate (including Sangiovese, Syrah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Aglianico, Grenache Blanc). You will find both single varietal offerings of Golden Rule wine, as well as expertly crafted blends to excite your senses.
